He also seized the territory of Cilicia, and killed every one who resisted him: Now we are back to Cilicia. Killed every one who resisted him may be translated “killed every one who tried to stop him.”

Came to the southern borders of Japheth, fronting toward Arabia: The location of Japheth is unknown. Arabia is near Cilicia if it refers to the desert region of Syria. This is usually true in the Bible. It should not be confused with the Arabian peninsula of today.
