Likewise, when does not give the correct sense of the transition here. “Then when” is better. Some translations simply have “When.”

All the Jews who were in Moab and among the Ammonites and in Edom: See 9.25-26. Note that Good News Translation translates Jews as “Israelites” (see 32.12).

A remnant: The word is found in a good number of other places in Jeremiah (see 6.9). For a remnant in Judah, Good News Translation translates “some Israelites” and Die Bibel im heutigen Deutsch “the rest of the people in Judah.”
