I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths: The verb translated was nursed does not refer only to feeding a baby at the breast as it tends to do in modern American English. It refers here to caring for the infant in any way. Swaddling cloths were strips of cloth used to wrap a baby; compare Luke 2.12. It may not be necessary to indicate precisely how this was done. In English, Revised English Bible is quite adequate with “they wrapped me up.” The line could be translated as follows:
• They wrapped me up in cloth and took good care of me.
