I will praise thy name continually: Good News Translation “always” is not quite the same as continually, which is the meaning here. A better rendering for this line in English is “I will constantly sing songs praising you.”
And will sing praise with thanksgiving may be translated “giving you thanks in song” or “constantly giving you thanks.”
My prayer was heard: Most translators will want to express this in the active voice; for example, Good News Translation says “You answered my prayer” and Contemporary English Version has “I know you heard my prayer.”
An alternative model for this verse is:
• I will continually sing songs praising you,
constantly giving you thanks.
I know you heard my prayer.
