His prosperity will be established: “If so” in Good News Translation refers to the person who had the chance to do wrong and chose not to. If such a person gets rich, “he deserves his wealth” (Good News Translation) or “he deserves all the money [or, possessions] he has acquired.”

And the assembly will relate his acts of charity: This verse assumes that rich people who have not gotten rich by sinful means will be generous people. There is probably a reference here to the ancient practice of inscribing on the walls of synagogues the names of members who had been generous with their money. Good News Translation is not actually wrong with “and everyone will praise him for his generosity,” but much closer to the sense would be “and he will receive public recognition for his generosity,” or in the active voice, “and everyone will praise him publicly for his generosity.” For assembly see the comments on 15.5.
