She is far from men of pride, and liars will never think of her: The first line can be stated with a focus on men of pride, saying “Arrogant people are a long way from Wisdom” or “… from gaining wisdom.” Good News Translation has stated the second line with a focus on Wisdom: “she never enters the mind of liars.” We could also say “Liars never even stop [or, pause] to think about what is wise.”
