13:8a Then Manoah prayed to the LORD,

Then Manoah prayed to Yahweh. He said,

Then Manoah pleaded with Yahweh. He prayed,

13:8b “Please, O Lord, let the man of God You sent us come to us again

“Please, Lord, I beg you. The man of God you sent, please let him come to us(dual/excl) again.

“Please excuse/forgive me, Master. Please send again the prophet who came to us before.

13:8c to teach us how to raise the boy who is to be born.”

Then he can teach us(dual/excl) what we should do for the boy that will be born soon.”

Have him instruct us. He can tell us how to raise the son who will be born.”
