9:6a So Jehu got up and went into the house,

Jehu stood up and entered the house/building.

So Jehu went inside ⌊with the young man⌋ .

9:6b where the young prophet poured the oil on his head and declared,

The young man poured the oil on the head of Jehu. He said,

Then the young prophet poured some ⌊olive⌋ oil ⌊from the jar⌋ on the head of Jehu. He said to Jehu,

9:6c “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says:

“This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says ⌊to you⌋ .

-or-

“Yahweh, the God of Israel, says that

9:6d ‘I anoint you king over the LORD’s people Israel.

‘I Yahweh am anointing/appointing you to be the king of my people Israel.

-or-

he/Yahweh has chosen you to become king of his people, the Israelites.
