Section 20:1-21
Hezekiah recovered from a serious illness
20:1a In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill.
In those days Hezekiah became sick and was about to die.
-or-
About/During that time Hezekiah ⌊the king of Judah⌋ became so sick that he almost died.
-or-
Around the time ⌊that Sennacherib attacked/invaded Judah,⌋ Hezekiah became very ill and was/lay dying.
20:1b The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz came to him and said,
Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to Hezekiah and said to him,
-or-
The prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, came to see Hezekiah. He told/gave Hezekiah

The prophet Isaiah, Amoz’ son, visited him and told him
20:1c “This is what the LORD says:
“This is what Yahweh says ⌊to you (sing.) ⌋ :
-or-
this message from Yahweh:
-or-
that Yahweh said that
20:1d ‘Put your house in order,
‘Give (sing.) your family your ⌊final⌋ instructions,
-or-
“You (sing.) should make plans/arrangements for your household,
-or-
he should arrange/organize his affairs
20:1e for you are about to die;
because you (sing.) are dying.
-or-
since you (sing.) are about to die.
-or-
in preparation for his death.
20:1f you will not recover.’”
You (sing.) will not get well.’”
-or-
You (sing.) will not live/survive.”
-or-
He would not recover ⌊from his illness⌋ .
20:1d-f (reordered)
“You (sing.) are not going to get better. You are going to die. So you need to make all the necessary preparations.”
-or-
“You (sing.) will not recover from this illness. So you should prepare your family/household for your death.”
