12:10a Whenever they saw that there was a large amount of money in the chest,

Any time the priests noticed that there was a lot of silver in the box,

-or-

Sometimes the sacrificers saw/realized that the box was full of silver money/pieces.

12:10b the royal scribe and the high priest would go up,

the king’s secretary and the senior/chief priest came up ⌊to the temple⌋ .

-or-

Then they called for the king’s own recorder/representative and the leader of the priests. Those two men came

12:10c count the money

They numbered all the silver pieces

-or-

find/see how much silver

12:10d brought into the house of the LORD,

that people had brought into the house of Yahweh.

-or-

the people had offered to Yahweh in his temple.

12:10e and tie it up in bags.

Then they put it all into bags.

-or-

Then they tied it up in sacks
