And every one who has been delivered from the evils that I have foretold shall see my wonders: Compare 2 Esd 4.26. Wonders here refers to good things, rewards, as opposed to evils (Good News Bible “calamities”) that are also part of the end time. The first person pronoun my refers to God even though the speaker is Uriel. Once again the writer makes no distinction between God and the angel who delivers God’s message. Some languages may prefer to render my wonders as “God’s wonders” for clarity. However, Contemporary English Version views God as the speaker for this whole subsection by beginning it with the quote frame “God said to Ezra.” Some languages may prefer to do this also. Good News Bible has an excellent model for this verse. So also does Contemporary English Version, which reads:
• and everyone who survives the disasters I have warned you about will see me do amazing things.
