33:13a And when he prayed to Him,

After he prayed

King Manasseh prayed to Yahweh for help

33:13b the LORD received his plea and heard his petition;

Yahweh listened to what he had to say and accepted his request for help.

and Yahweh listened to him and decided to help him.

33:13c so He brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom.

Yahweh restored his kingdom to him and sent him back to Jerusalem.

He had him sent back to Jerusalem and he became king again.

33:13d Then Manasseh knew that the LORD is God.

Then Manasseh finally understood that Yahweh was God.

Then King Manasseh recognized that it is Yahweh who is ⌊the one true⌋ God.
