Thus on these terms the Romans make a treaty with the Jewish people: Good News Bible begins a new paragraph here, since this verse is a summary of the treaty in verses 24-28. Good News Bible provides a good model, but another way to translate this verse is:

• “These are the terms of the agreement that we Romans have now made with you Jews.
