All the grants that we have made to you remain valid: Here Good News Bible switches to the first person plural, but the singular is still appropriate. The grants refer to the offers made in 1Macc 11.30-37. Contemporary English Version has a good model for this clause, saying “I will give you everything I have promised in our treaties.”
And let the strongholds that you have built be your possession: For the strongholds, see verse 33. Good News Bible‘s model is helpful here, and so is Contemporary English Version‘s with “Besides that, you can keep the fortresses you have just built.”
