Good News Bible inserts a paragraph break here, which is appropriate.

This copy of the letter which we wrote concerning you to Lasthenes our kinsman we have written to you also, so that you may know what it says: The actual letter to Jonathan consists only of this verse and the previous one. The rest of the letter (verses 32-37) is a copy of the letter written to Lasthenes, which would make official the agreements reached between Jonathan and King Demetrius~II. The use of the first person plural pronoun we is part of the formal language used by kings in official documents. Translators may follow Good News Bible by using the singular pronoun “I.” According to Josephus, Lasthenes was the leader of a mercenary army from Crete that Demetrius~II had employed to press his claims to the throne of the Seleucid Empire (see 1Macc 10.67). Kinsman is a title (see the comments on 1Macc 10.89). Lasthenes was surely a trusted adviser, one whom we might call today a Prime Minister. Good News Bible expresses our kinsman as “the Honorable,” which is acceptable, even if that title is used in the previous verse to refer to Jonathan. For we have written to you, Good News Bible has “I am sending,” but it is better to say “I am providing you” (see the comments on verse 29).
