22:6a So the king of Israel assembled the prophets, about four hundred men,
So the king of Israel called the prophets together. About 400 of them came to him.

Then Ahab, the king of Israel, summoned the men who ⌊claimed to⌋ speak for God. There were about four hundred (400) of them.

Then Ahab called/sent for the four hundred prophets ⌊of Israel⌋. They arrived and
22:6b and asked them, “Should I go to war against Ramoth-gilead, or should I refrain?”
The king said to them, “Should I attack Ramoth Gilead, or not?”

He asked them, “⌊Do you advise that⌋ I should go to fight for Ramoth Gilead? Yes or no?”

Ahab asked them whether or not it would be good to attack Ramoth city.
22:6c “Go up,” they replied, “and the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.”
They said/replied, “Go, (sing) your Majesty! The Lord will give you power/victory over it.”

They told him, “Yes, go. (sing) The Lord ⌊God⌋ will allow you to capture/conquer it.”
-or-
They told him that ⌊if he went/attacked,⌋ the Lord would bring the city back into his power. It would be good to go/attack.
