19:15a Then the LORD said to him, “Go back by the way you came,

Yahweh replied to him, “Go (sing) back by the same way that you came here,

Then Yahweh commanded Elijah, “Return (sing) now on the road on/by which you came.

19:15b and go to the Desert of Damascus.

and go to the desert/wilderness near Damascus.

Go to the wild/dry country by/beyond Damascus ⌊city⌋.

19:15c When you arrive, you are to anoint Hazael as king over Aram.

When you (sing) arrive, anoint Hazael ⌊with oil⌋ to be king of Aram.
-or-
Go (sing) and pour ⌊sacred⌋ oil on Hazael’s ⌊head⌋, for he will rule as king over ⌊the land of⌋ Aram.
