16:7a Moreover, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Jehu son of Hanani against Baasha and his house,

The prophet Jehu son of Hanani spoke the word of Yahweh to Baasha and his family
-or-
Yahweh gave the/that ⌊above⌋ message to Baasha and his family/descendants through the prophet Jehu son of Hanani

16:7b because of all the evil he had done in the sight of the LORD,

because of the evil Baasha had done in the sight of Yahweh.

because Baasha had done much that Yahweh saw as evil.

16:7a-b (reordered)

It was because Baasha did so much that was evil in the sight of Yahweh that he/Yahweh spoke to him and his family through the prophet Jehu son of Hanani.

16:7c provoking Him to anger with the work of his hands

Baasha had made Yahweh very angry by his actions.
-or-
His ⌊evil⌋ deeds caused Yahweh to become angry.

16:7d and becoming like the house of Jeroboam,

He angered Yahweh by becoming like a member of Jeroboam’s family
-or-
Baasha became/acted just like one of Jeroboam’s family/descendants

16:7e and also because Baasha had struck down the house of Jeroboam.

and by destroying that family line.

whom he had killed.

16:7d-e (reordered)

He/Baasha killed all of Jeroboam’s family and then became just like one of them himself!
