And whatever else occurs to you as necessary for the temple of your God, you may provide out of the royal treasury: The king tells Ezra if there is anything else he can think of that the Temple will need, he may take the funds to pay for it from the royal treasury before he sets out on the journey. And whatever else occurs to you as necessary may be rendered “And if you think of anything else you will need.” Even though the Greek term for treasury differs from that used in 1 Esd 6.25, see the comments there. An alternative model based on Contemporary English Version for this verse is:

• And if you think of anything else that you will need for the Temple, you may have the money you need to pay for it from the royal treasury [or, I will give you the money to pay for it from my treasury].
