Term: a woman clothed with the sun - with the moon under her feet - and on her head a crown of twelve stars

a woman clothed with the sun - with the moon under her feet - and on her head a crown of twelve stars

The following is the 16th century image of the Our Lady of Guadalupe in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. The imagery is partly based on Revelation 12:1: “clothed with the sun” (around her), “moon under her feet” (below her), and “stars” (on her cloak).
