For wisdom is more mobile than any motion: This verse sums up the preceding descriptions of Wisdom, so the connector For may be rendered by “then”; for example, “Wisdom, then, moves about….” On mobile see the third line of verse 22b. Possible alternative models for this line are “Wisdom moves about more freely than anything else” and “Nothing moves about more freely than Wisdom.”

Because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things: For pureness see the previous verse. The verb translated penetrates is the same as in the second to last line of verse 23. Pervades and penetrates were technical terms in Greek philosophy. Good News Translation combines the two with no loss of meaning, and provides a possible model with “she is so pure that she penetrates everything.” Contemporary English Version is also good with “and is so pure that she is everywhere at once.”
