For a good angel will accompany him: Once again there is an ironic reference in Tobit’s words; a good angel is indeed going with Tobias. This of course is also the reader’s assurance that things will turn out well. Tobit here is in substance, though not literally, repeating Raphael’s words of assurance to Tobit himself in 5.16.
