If integrated into the book of Daniel: 3.89
The primary meaning of the Greek verb translated Give thanks is “confess, acknowledge,” but this is the word used in the Greek text of Psalms to translate the meaning “give thanks” as in Psa 106.1 and 136.1-3.
For he is good: In some languages translators will need to use a verbal expression here; for example, “for he does good things.”
His mercy endures for ever may be rendered “he will be merciful [or, show mercy] forever.”
