All the assembly: As in verse 41, the Greek word usually translated “synagogue” is used for assembly. It could be rendered here “everyone present.”

Shouted loudly: Moore translates “cheered,” which is an interesting approach here. Another possible rendering is “gave a loud cheer.”

For blessed Good News Translation has “praised.” See the comments on “blessing” in TYM 1.

Those who hope in him: This is well translated in Good News Translation with “those who put their trust in him.”
