Amen!: “So be it!” or “It is so!” (see 1.6). In this way the four living creatures join in the song of praise by affirming that their thoughts are the same as those of the singers.

Worshiped: see 4.10. It may be necessary to add a direct object, “worshiped God and the Lamb.” Revised English Bible avoids this need by translating “the elders prostrated themselves in worship.”
