From Kibroth-hattaavah the people journeyed to Hazeroth: Good News Translation says simply “From there the people moved to Hazeroth,” which some languages may find helpful. Journeyed renders the Hebrew verb translated “set out … on the march” in 2.9 (see the comments there).

And they remained at Hazeroth: If this clause is too repetitive for natural narrative, then it may be rendered simply “where they made camp” (Good News Translation) or “where they stayed for some time” (New Living Translation). This was not only the next campsite of the Israelites, but it was also the scene of their next act of rebellion against the LORD, resulting in his punishment of the guilty. New Revised Standard Version moves this clause to the beginning of 12.1 (see the comments there), where it introduces the next act of rebellion.
