exebalon auton exō tou ampelōnos ‘they threw him out of the vineyard’: the words indicate that they did not bury the body but threw it out unburied, a final indignity. (If the cultural context of the language requires it, ‘cast him out’ may be read ‘cast the body out’ with no violence being done the Greek.)

Translation:

Took him is equivalent to ‘grabbed him.’

Cast him out may require a change to ‘threw his corpse out,’ for the use of the pronoun ‘him’ might imply that he was not actually dead.
