Shut up: this is the same expression as it used in verse 4 and elsewhere in this chapter, but since the context is different here, the verb may also be different. When speaking of things rather than persons, some languages may say “put away,” “put aside,” “isolated,” “hidden,” or “separated.”

That which has the disease: some languages may prefer “the thing which has the spot” or simply “the object” (referred to earlier).
