I will lead them away captive implies that not everyone will be killed, so Contemporary English Version has “will capture everyone left alive.”

To the ends of the whole earth does not mean that he will literally take them to the farthest point of the earth, but rather he will “make them live all over the world” or “scatter them all over the world.”
