Then Job answered the LORD says in prose that Job replied to God. Good News Translation places verses 3 and 4 together but does not translate the words of verse 3, since they are implied in the previous line, where the name of the speaker is given in italics. Good News Translation and others show in the margin that verses 3-5 are the words of Job.
