This is the vision which the LORD has shown to me is more literally “the LORD revealed to me this word.” However, vision is a legitimate translation, in light of what follows in verse 22. Both dreams and visions were accepted means of divine revelation, the major difference being that dreams came when a person was asleep, which was not necessarily so with visions.
