Heed translates the same verb rendered “listen” in verse 4. Both New Jerusalem Bible and Good News Translation have the equivalent of “pay attention.” The verb occurs again at the end of the verse (heeded).

Urgently: This comes from the same Hebrew root as the word rendered “persistently” in 7.25 and 25.3; see there.

To translate though Good News Translation simply begins a new sentence. But translators can also retain though (or, “even though”), for example in “and by obeying the words of my servants the prophets who I keep sending to you even though you have never obeyed them.”
