Verses 24-30 describe what God will do to save his people and protect his honor (in many ways these verses are similar to 11.17-20). Throughout these verses God directly addresses the Israelites, so the second person pronouns for you and your are plural in Hebrew.

This verse talks about the people returning to the land of Israel (compare 11.17). For I will take you from the nations means God will lead them out of the nations where they were in exile; and gather you from all the countries means he will bring them together from all the different countries they were living in; and bring you into your own land means he will cause them to come back to the land of Israel. The verbs take and bring are general terms that do not describe exactly how God will do this. Many languages may need to use more specific expressions, such as “lead out” and “cause to come back.” A model for this verse is:

• I will bring you together from all the nations [where you are in exile], and lead you out from them, and bring you back to your homeland.
