By making the charge of unfairness against God, the people showed that they were not willing to accept his argument concerning individual responsibility. Therefore he repeats the major points of the argument in verses 26-28.
When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die for it; for the iniquity which he has committed he shall die: Here God talks again about good people who abandon their good life and turn to sin. See the comments on verse 24.
