Them is literally “these” in Greek, but them is a more natural rendering in English. In the Greek text “these” refers back to the Jews to whom Paul had just spoken.

If Titius Justus is the correct reading (there is considerable disagreement in the Greek manuscripts), this is the only time he is mentioned in the New Testament. Who worshiped God is the same phrase which appears in 16.14.
