We will grant you many immunities and give you gifts: Many immunities refers specifically to “exemptions from many taxes” (Good News Bible), as spelled out in verses 29-31. Gifts includes not only money (verses 39-45), but also a number of concessions in which the king offers to allow the Jews a certain measure of local control over their own affairs (verses 32-38). Good News Bible says “other privileges,” which expresses this well.
