Even though this verse is a continuation of the sentence begun in verse 29, translators are advised to make it a separate sentence following the model of Good News Translation.

The three occurrences of the pronoun he in this verse refer to Jeroboam, not to Baasha.

The sins of Jeroboam which he sinned and which he made Israel to sin: See 1 Kgs 14.16.

The anger to which he provoked the LORD is literally “the anger to which he provoked the LORD to anger.” In Hebrew both “anger” (a noun) and “provoked to anger” (a verb) come from the same root. See the comments on this Hebrew root in 1 Kgs 14.9.
