And these are the names of the sons of Gershom …: See Exo 6.17. Good News Translation sets the stage for the following verses by beginning this verse with the words “Each of them also had sons….” Strictly speaking, the text speaks here only of the sons of Gershon.

The descendants of Gershon’s son Libni are listed in verses 20-21. In 1 Chr 23.7 and 26.21, Libni is called “Ladan.”
