Exegesis:

apokritheis de ho heteros epitimōn autō ephē lit. ‘answering the other said, checking him.’ For the use of apokritheis see on 1.60. For epitimaō cf. on 4.35 and reference there.

oude phobē su ton theon ‘do you not even fear God,’ not to speak of feeling remorse (cf. Klostermann), or, taking oude with su, ‘do not even you fear God.’ The former is preferable.

hoti en tō autō krimati ei ‘since you are under the same sentence.’ The clause is to be taken and understood together with v. 41: the fact that they are suffering what they deserve but that Jesus is suffering what he does not deserve should have kept him from reviling Jesus.

Translation:

For rebuked see on 4.35, for fear God on 1.50.

Since, or, ‘in view of the fact that,’ ‘now that’; the relationship may also be expressed by an appositional construction, .’.., you who are…,’ or an asyndetic sentence, cf. Good News Translation.

You are under the same sentence of condemnation, or, ‘you receive the same punishment (as he receives)’ (cf. Marathi, Kele, Tae,’ Sranan Tongo), ‘they have condemned (or, are punishing) you like him (or, as they have done him),’ ‘you and he are both condemned to death’ (Shona 1966). Of course the speaker does not mean to exclude himself; hence it is more idiomatic in some languages to say, ‘we (inclus.) are under the same sentence’ (Batak Toba).
