She brings him good and not harm all the days of her life: The word that the Berean Standard Bible translates as brings is more literally “repays” or “rewards.” It means that she does good things for her husband and treats him well. The phrase not harm emphasizes that she does only what is good and beneficial, nothing that is bad or harmful. Some other ways to translate this verse are:
Every day of her life, she does what is best for him, never anything harmful… (The Voice)
-or-
As long as she lives, she does him good and never harm. (Good News Translation)
