2:31
which You have prepared: The word which refers back to the word “salvation” in 2:30. The word prepared refers to God planning and preparing to save the world through Jesus.
in the sight of all people: The Greek phrase that the Berean Standard Bible translates as in the sight of all people is literally “before the face of all peoples.” This indicates that both Jews and Gentiles would see God’s salvation. God’s plan to save mankind would not take place in secret, nor would it be for the Jews only. God had prepared events so that the Savior would come to the earth where people could see him.
