8:21a Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Get up and kill us yourself,

Then Zebah and Zalmunna said to Gideon, “Strike us(dual) yourself,

King Zebah and King Zalmunna told Gideon, “Come on. Kill us yourself.

8:21b for as the man is, so is his strength.”

for that is the task of a strong man.”

This is not the job for a boy but for a man.”

8:21c So Gideon got up and killed Zebah and Zalmunna,

Then Gideon went to them and killed them(dual)

So Gideon ⌊took out his sword and⌋ killed both the kings.

8:21d and he took the crescent ornaments from the necks of their camels.

and took the ornaments from the necks of their camels.

⌊After killing them,⌋ he took the ⌊valuable⌋ decorations off their camels’ necks.
