8:18a Next, Gideon asked Zebah and Zalmunna, “What kind of men did you kill at Tabor?”

Then he asked Zebah and Zalmunna, “The men you(dual) killed in Tabor Mountain, what were they like?”

Then Gideon asked King Zebah and King Zalmunna, “What did the men look like whom you killed on Mount Tabor?”

8:18b “Men like you,” they answered,

They(dual) answered, “They (plur.) looked like you. (sing.)
-or-
They replied “They were men like you.

8:18c “each one resembling the son of a king.”

They all looked like they were sons of a king.”
-or-
Every one of them was like the son of a king.”
