Gideon asked for a sign

6:33a Then all the Midianites, Amalekites, and other people of the east gathered together

The people of Midian, Amalek, and other groups from the east gathered their troops,

⌊The soldiers of⌋ the Midian people, the Amalek people, and other nomads from the east gathered together.

6:33b crossed over the Jordan, and camped in the Valley of Jezreel.

crossed the Jordan River, and set up camp in the Valley of Jezreel.

They crossed the Jordan River and set up their tents in the Jezreel Valley.
