5:3a Listen, O kings! Give ear, O princes!

Listen to me O kings, and open your ear O leaders.

You kings, listen. Rulers of the people, pay attention.

5:3b I will sing to the LORD;

I will sing. I will sing to Yahweh.

I will sing to Yahweh. I will sing to him.

5:3c I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.

I will play music and sing to Yahweh the God of Israel.

I will praise Yahweh the God of Israel as I sing.
