4:3a Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD

They called on Yahweh for help

They cried to Yahweh to help them

4:3b because Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron

because Sisera had nine hundred iron chariots,

since General Sisera had nine hundred (900) war carts made of iron,

4:3c and he had harshly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years.

and he oppressed the Israelites severely for twenty years.

and he made the Israelites suffer cruelly for twenty (20) years.
