4:18a Jael went out to greet Sisera and said to him,

Jael went out to greet Sisera and said,

Jael went out to meet General Sisera. She said to him,

4:18b “Come in, my lord. Come in with me. Do not be afraid.”

“Come in, my lord. Do not be afraid.”

“Honored sir, come into ⌊my tent⌋ . You will be safe here.”

4:18c So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.

Sisera accepted and went into the tent. Jael covered him with a blanket.

So General Sisera went into the tent ⌊and lay down to rest⌋ , and Jael put a blanket over him.
