2:7a And the people served the LORD throughout the days of Joshua

The people remained faithful to Yahweh all the days that Joshua was alive

All the time that Joshua was alive the people worshiped only Yahweh.

2:7b and of the elders who outlived him,

and as long as the leaders who followed him were alive.

⌊They kept on worshiping him⌋ as long as the old people of Joshua’s generation were alive.

2:7c who had seen all the great works that the LORD had done for Israel.

Those leaders had seen all the great things that Yahweh did for the people of Israel.

Those people had seen all the great deeds that Yahweh had done for the Israelites.
