20:35a The LORD defeated Benjamin in the presence of Israel,

Yahweh helped Israel to defeat Benjamin.

Yahweh won the battle for Israel and defeated the clan of Benjamin.

20:35b and on that day the Israelites slaughtered 25,100 Benjamites, all armed with swords.

On that day the Israel army killed twenty-five thousand one hundred Benjamin people who were carrying swords.

The soldiers of Israel killed twenty-five thousand one hundred (25,100) soldiers of Benjamin on that day.
