16:19a And having lulled him to sleep on her lap,

She got him to sleep on her lap

16:19b she called a man to shave off the seven braids of his head.

and called for somebody to shave off the seven braids of his hair.

16:19c In this way she began to subdue him, and his strength left him.

He began to get weaker and all his strength went away.
